About Us
We Are On A Mission From God to Love the World.
Mission flows out from who we are.
Love is our guide.
We offer a community of faith for those who are over-churched, out-churched, un-churched and the un-churchable.
Our aim is to offer a community that nurtures faith-oriented folks.
To explore God's hope in community that brings goodness, blessing, and healing to those who cross our paths.
We Don't Do Church As Usual or Expected.
Most of us at Faith Community found the limits of a traditional church.
That doesn't mean it doesn't work for a lot of people, we just found that it stopped working for us. We wanted and needed something different.
For us, church is not:
A building. We sold our building in 2020. We are connected by a common mission - to love the world together. That means we are committed to one another, not where we "go to church" but where we can be the church.
A bunch of programs. It is our mutual connection to one another, not how often we show up to events. That means we are multi-generational and affirming.
A worship service. When we gather, it is for building community. It is because we need to see each other and have shared life experiences. Not to be entertained or taught by a few people.
Required. Faith shouldn't feel like an obligation or expectation, it should be an invitation to join God and others. We should want to be there, not feel we should be there. (And "there" is with others, not at a building, program, or service.)
A program-driven system. Life can be messy and we needed a faith that can color outside the lines and get messy too. Our faith is not a cookie-cutter or one-size fits all approach, it should meet us where we are at in life.
Led by trained and paid professionals. It is shared by people who are pursuing a faith that matters in the day-to-day. Each person has something unique to contribute to the community and our collective work of bringing goodness, healing, and restoration to the community around us.
We Meet Differently.
We meet almost every Sunday at 10:30am. Those Sundays look different.
First and Third Sundays of the Month at Same As U (SAU) Campus at 19201 Promise Road in Noblesville for a time of Celebration!
Second Sunday of the Month at The Gathering House (TGH) at 1372 Cherry Street in Noblesville for a Breakfast Liturgy or a Pitch-In Brunch.
Fourth Sunday of the Month at The Gathering House (TGH) at 1372 Cherry Street in Noblesville for an organic time of sharing stores or experiences our live.
Fifth Sundays are Sabbatical Sundays. We don't gather and invite you to rest or worship with friends elsewhere.
